Is a comforter the same as a duvet?
It does the same essential job, but it works differently. A traditional duvet is a plain insert that needs a separate cover. A comforter combines the outer fabric, filling and quilted finish in one complete piece.
Does it replace my duvet and duvet cover?
Yes — that's the whole point. Put it directly on your bed in place of your usual duvet and separate duvet cover. Use your normal fitted sheet and pillows underneath.
Do I need to put a cover over it?
No. The colour, fabric and signature bubble texture are designed to be seen.
How warm is it?
The Premium Bamboo Viscose Bubble Comforter is designed as a cosy, puffy layer rather than being classified using the traditional UK tog system. Please refer to the product specifications for its exact weight, filling and recommended use.
Will it fit my UK bed?
The comforter is available in two generously sized options: UK Double and King beds, or UK Super King beds. Please check the exact centimetre measurements against your mattress and preferred amount of drape before ordering.
How do I clean it?
Professional cleaning is recommended. Alternatively, it can be washed in a sufficiently large-capacity machine at home or at a laundrette, following the care instructions carefully. Because UK washing machines are often smaller than American machines, please check your machine's capacity before washing, particularly for the larger size.
Do I have to clean the whole thing?
Yes. Because the comforter is one complete piece, the entire comforter is cleaned together. There is no separate cover to remove, wash or wrestle back on.
What if it isn't right for me?
You have 30 days to try it at home. If it isn't right for you, return it in accordance with our returns policy and we'll make things right.
